Face to face tabletop gaming is awesome

My name is John Harper, and I make tabletop games — mainly no-prep, quick-play, easy-to-learn roleplaying games. I’m a visual designer and I make graphics of all kinds for tabletop play including character sheets, maps, play aids, and illustrations. I also write guides for techniques, tips, and best practices for a wide variety of roleplaying games.

I’m probably best known for my award-winning game, Lady Blackbird, and for the graphic design of the Fiasco rpg. You can see a selection of my other games at my website. I’m also one of the co-founders of Go Play Northwest, an annual tabletop game event in Seattle.

I release my games for free under a Creative Commons license that lets other people remix, expand and release their own games based on mine. Your patronage will allow me to devote a lot more of my time and effort to produce more free games.
