Norms. Basic knowledge of what others do and what others think that they should do, and be. We are all unique, and if all people are unique then unique is normal. Therefore we are all normal. Norms say otherwise. Norms says what is normal, and what is not.

2004 my son was born, and he has cerebral palsy. He uses a wheelchair, he speaks with the help of bliss symbols and need help in his every day life. My sons needs, opened my eyes and I saw the world through his perspective. When I started to see, I saw all the people that was outside the norm. A veriety of people who where all unique. That was not represented in our society other then when they where victims or inspiration for positive thinking.

I want to challenge the views of what is normal. I want to question the values of our world and show that they are not static. I want to show with art. I want to provoke thought. I want to show that good is not always good and bad is not always bad and all is not black or white.

Why do I seek your support? I just did a photoshoot in Stockholm, I live in Gothenburg. I got a ride with a train driver to Stockholm. I got food during my stay and a train ticket home from my little brother. I am in a position where the support of others is necessary. I have trouble just managing every day life. I have lived almost five years just struggling to buy food and pay my bills. I often have to loan money for our basic needs and it seems that I can't make it on my own. I was diagnosed as burnout around 2010, and my energy is very sporadic and I can almost just do what my son needs. Other then that I can only do what I believe is important, my brain doesn't let me do anything else. The bottom line is that I want to see a world where my son, and others, are seen just as a person. Like you and me. With hopes, dreams and wishes of a better tomorrow.

With your support I hope to relieve the stress where I feel I never can afford to get started. To go to other cities and meet the people I photograph and know that I can get home again. Money can buy the freedom to do. To start changing the world, one photo at the time.

I will give you more information, even make a video. Until then.

Thank you.

At this level I could buy pretty much red wine. With that I could drink and become a failed artist with alcoholic problems. Or I could get a train ticket home, which would make me more secure to try to hitch a ride away to where my work needs to be done. The chance of being stuck in another city tends to paralyse my thinking of possiblities.
