Why is the PH silent?
Because my name is pronounced Jordan, with a silent PH in the middle. #Shrug

What exactly do you do?

I make Lore videos about the Dungeons and Dragons universe. I started my YouTube channel because I went searching for similar videos and couldn’t find what I was looking for. I figured if I’m interested in this mythology there must be others.

I started with the history of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, under the channel Jorphdan. You can check out my videos here. Since then I've expanded into reviews, live streamed games, a podcast, and more! I’ll freely admit I haven’t got it all figured out and I’m no expert, but I love diving in and creating content.

My Podcast called the "Saturday Morning D&D Show" has been a fun side project. It has it's own YouTube Channel or you can listen to it in podcast form on Anchor.fm

What do I get outta this?

You gain access to our discord server where you can chat with me and other patrons, we're all fans of the Forgotten Realms and D&D! I have a patreon only podcast where I interview my friends about D&D and sometimes I post actual plays of my TTRPGs.

Where does the money go?

Back into the channel. The amount of ad revenue from YouTube doesn't cover the expenses it takes to make this content. Patreon money will go towards lights,recording equipment, Dungeons and Dragons PDFs for research, and editing software. Basically keep me from losing money on this hobby channel.

With enough support I may be able to do multiple videos per week. Perhaps even record some of my D&D sessions.

Why Monthly, why not charge per video?

This was a tough one. Ultimately I felt that monthly would feel more like supporting the channel as opposed to buying episodes. So for this endeavor I went with a monthly subscription and I don't see that changing in the future. If you wanted to help on a per episode basis consider subscribing at the $10 level as I average 4 videos per month.
