Liopleurodons will get a shout out on my post of the week they sign up (whether video, audio, or blog post) as well as a permanent spot on the "thank you" section on my website.
Leprechauns are a mythical creature! This Tier will not only get a shout out in my weekly blog for one month and be added to the "thank you" section of my website, but will also be added to a special mailing list. This mailing list will get a notice every time I have a new stage production or showing of one of my films. Each Leaprechaun will receive a free ticket to one performance for every production!
About Josiah Frampton
Who I AmIn kindergarten my school put on a staged production of The Lorax. I'm almost positive it was illegal, I was a made-up character, I followed a bunch of people around the stage for about one minute, and I had no lines. I was HOOKED! I have been a performer ever since. It doesn't matter if its acting on a stage, in film, voice over, singing, or even writing--I am thrilled if I entertain. And I know what I want to do with my life.
What is Patreon?Patreon allows you to send a regular payment to creators, so they can support themselves and keep making new stuff. Patrons are charged monthly on the first of the month. But you are always in complete control: You choose the amount you want to pledge and you can cancel your support at any time.
Why I Need SupportActing in a play or musical may fulfill me, but it isn't sustainable. Actors spend 20 hours a week on average in rehearsals, 30 hours if its a big musical. Rehearsals last 4-5 weeks. Then we spend about 15-20 hours a week performing. In return for all of this work, we receive an average of $200-$500. That breaks down to around $0.80 per hour! My hope is to turn this, my blog, and Theatre Customs into my only jobs. But that's simply not possible without your support!
What I Am Doing NowWhen I'm not working at my day job or at rehearsals/performances, I produce a weekly blog that talks about what happens behind the scenes in my acting career. I have just started a YouTube series called Theatre Customs about the strange things that actors do and where those customs come from. I want to add to that an interview series in order to give a more well rounded idea of what being a performing artist is like. But I simply could not do this without your support. Thank you so much for being a fan of my work and considering joining me on this adventure!
