I'm an experimenter, a let's see what will happen if (er), a story gone bad (er) a weird journeyer.  I am looking for the best way to tell this new story.  There is always a new story.  There is always a new way to tell an old story.  Sometimes it sounds better in my head, and other times it comes out just weird enough that I like it. (and hopefully you do too)

You are Beautiful.  You are Loved.  You are Enough.  These are themes I often have in my stories.  I also have themes of You are Hidden.  You are Fearful.  You are Weird.  All of which are ok.  The story keeps getting written.  Please consider supporting a story teller.  One that is taking a journey to weird herself.  One whose themes are personal, yet what I believe are also universal.

Part of all financial support not only goes towards the making of new art, but it goes toward helping children in need.  I work in a Group Home and see first hand the needs some of these kids have.  Social Security may cover some of their needs, but it does not cover all of them.  Family Support is needed and some of these kids don't have much in the way of family funding for a variety of reasons.  I want to help support these kids not just in their everyday life but also help them get their needs (clothing, hair cuts, and footwear) taken care of.  Please help me support them, by giving what you can to have something beautiful in your home, your office, or even to give as a gift.

All pieces are original.  There will never be prints made of the creations I post on this site.  I want to create an environment where you pay as much as you can for my small visual stories, but also feel like you are giving back to those who need a little help.

And remember, You are Loved.  You are Weird.  And because you've viewed this page, I like you.

Journey on over to see what I'm up to at www.thevoidbetween.com

I work for a group home, caring for children with Autism. Some of these kids have little money/funds coming in for personal use. They are on Social Security and Medicaid, but wind up with very little at the end of each month to care for the needs that are not met through SS. Things we take for granted like clothing, haircuts and even personal items are hard to purchase on their $30.00 per month spending. Kids grow fast, and need haircuts monthly.

The boy I would like to support with my first goal has no family funding on top of his Social Security. His closet may have 3-4 shirts and 1-2 pair of pants to get him through the week. With a change in seasons coming up he does not have clothing to prepare for this. (including short sleeve shirts, shorts, underwear, and summer footwear)

This boy's privacy is very guarded, but I want to make him more real to you. He is very funny. He loves to play, swing, and watch movies. He can quote Dr. Suess's Green Eggs and Ham verbatim and occasionally to get a rise out of us he will change the wording around so we can all laugh and giggle together. His favorite foods are peanut butter, sweet tea, chicken nuggets and chips. He loves to go on outings and his favorite places are Barnes and Noble, Game Stop and a local Pet Rescue.

The money raised here will be used to purchase some clothes for him, and take him out to get some sweet tea.

Each piece I create is 4x6 on either Bristol Paper or Watercolor Paper (details noted under each piece). You can donate as much or as little for each piece of small art. All I ask is that you pay for shipping on top of what you pay for the piece. Shipping per piece is approximately $2.00. So if you want to donate $5.00 please include $2.00 extra for shipping.

e-mail me with your address: [email protected] and put in the subject line Autism Art.

Thank you!
