About Jules Scheele
Hi there! I'm Jules Scheele, a trans non-binary comics artist and illustrator based in Glasgow. I specialise in graphic storytelling and illustrations that help translate and bring a human touch to difficult concepts, and my art focuses strongly on mental health, queerness, activism and community. Over the last few years I have illustrated a few books in the Graphic Guides series from ICON Books, most notably Queer: A Graphic History and Gender: A Graphic Guide, written by Dr. Meg-John Barker.
Here on Patreon you can sign up to one of three different tiers' worth of sketches, work in progress, previews, diary comics, doodles, writing and digital copies of all my old zines. Any support from here will go towards giving me a bit of time and breathing space to work on my personal art and comics, which often has to take a backseat to all sorts of freelancing I do to cover my living costs. I usually post some form of new content on 2-3 times a month. I also send out free exclusive prints and zines when I hit stretch goals!
You can see more of my art on my portfolio website and my Instagram, if you'd like to have a browse of my work before signing up. Meanwhile, thanks so much for visiting my page and considering becoming a patron!
