About

Hi! My name is Juliana and I am the co-founder and director of Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary a 501(c)(3) in the United states and charity in Colombia, our sanctuary is literally the only hope for animals considered food in Colombia and the only project to provide help by rescuing them from suffering or providing emergency medical care.
We are the first sanctuary established in South America and is currently the only one in Colombia. We have also established 3 strong educational programs, including vegan cooking workshops, vegan comics, vegan food relief, and strong social media activism.

Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary was founded in 2006 in Colombia. However, the project has its roots in Juliana’s initial desire to save all the world’s animals when she learned about the suffering of animals as a 5-year old girl. At age 11 she began saving money to build her project and by age 26 she purchased her first property. However, in pursuing her dream, Juliana faced numerous challenges, including a public that did not even understand the meaning of a sanctuary, legal battles for her land, lack of funds and overwhelming demand of animals in need. In 2015, the project was registered as a 501c3 charity in Maryland, USA and with this brought a new source of funds and support from overseas.

Right now we have 110 animals under our care and this work never end, We need you to continue saving animals and give to the ones we have the best life possible. We count on you.
Goals
101 of 5000 patrons
As the only farm animal sanctuary in Colombia, we depend on donors like you to continue providing food, shelter, and medical care to all of our animal residents. Colombia is not a reach country, I work19 hours a day and at the same time care for the animals at the sanctuary, I can't do this alone, I need your he;p.

All funds received will go towards:
*Food for the animals
*Sanctuary Improvements such as fencing around the property
*Medical expenses such as surgeries and medicine

When we reach 5000 patrons,  we will hit a consistent stream of support to achieve the goals above.

Anything you contribute is tax deductible due to Juliana's being an official nonprofit organization.
