Hi, I'm Katie Schenkel. I write the comic Moonlighters and the upcoming graphic novel The Cardboard Kingdom.

You might also know me on Twitter as @JustPlainTweets, which I'm on probably more often than I should be. I'm also on the podcasts Supergirl Gab with Chris Haley and Crystal Clods with Elle Collins. And on top of that, my blog Just Plain Something runs the video series Driving Home the Movie where my partner Mike and I drive home from the movie theater and I film our discussion.

Why support my work? Well, this Patreon has helped me keep all the cogs of my various projects turning when money gets scarce. If you like something I do, even a few bucks a month helps a ton. Also, according to our fans, Mike and I are adorable to watch on these videos. That's what we've heard, anyway.

Choose Our Fate: I'll film a "Driving Home the Movie" (est. 15-30 minutes) for a new movie of your choice. (Note: it'll have to be a movie we can get to in theaters or easily rented)

You'll also get your name in the credits of DHtM.

Our Voices and Your Project: Become a podcast sponsor and advertise your project on our monthly podcast. We'll have up to two sponsors an episode at either the beginning or middle of the audio. (Please note: we retain the right to refuse a project if we disagree with it ethically. This is most likely common sense, but if you have something like an anti-gay rights rally or an MRA group you'd like to promote, you might want to do it somewhere else.)

You'll also get your name in the credits of DHtM.

The Ultimate Sponsor: Advertise your project, business, kickstarter or event on our super popular videos. Choose this reward and Mike and I will acknowledge your project as our sponsor in one Driving Home the Movie episode a month. (Please note: we retain the right to refuse a project as a sponsor if we disagree with it ethically. This is most likely common sense, but if you have something like an anti-gay rights rally or an MRA group you'd like to promote, you might want to do it somewhere else.)

Goals
$110 of $150 per month
I'll write up a new op ed for JPS about what frustrates me about a TV show, movie, or comic (my choice, but it'll be a good one).
