Double the Podcasts Until June!
$300 per month
Because Mike and I will be a state apart until June 2016, getting us to $300 a month will mean two podcast episodes instead of one a month until we can be reunited in the summer. The sooner you get us to this goal, the more double podcast months you'll have!
Driving Home the Movie Audio
$350 per month
We've gotten some requests to convert our vlogs to just the audio for easy listening on the go. If we get to $350, we'll start converting our new videos to audio for anyone who prefers that version.
More Articles
$400 per month
In the last couple years I've been mostly posting audio and video content onto Just Plain Something (while blogging for other websites). If you miss my JPS articles, get Just Plain Something to $400 a month and I'll start writing on the site again - at least 1-2 posts a month.
Follow-Up Review ... now with Spoilers!
$450 per month
If we get to $450 a month total, I will record a short follow-up video to one of the movies we've already talked about. We'll spoil spoilers and point out all the things we failed to point out before and tell you how we were oh so wrong to like it coming out of the theater. These videos will be available only to patrons!

Just Plain Something has been an ongoing project of mine since 2009. I started off doing almost entirely blogs and articles (from pop culture news to opinion pieces to movie reviews) but transitioned to primarily vlogs. The majority of JPS' content now is the Driving Home the Movie vlogs (where I record my thoughts as my boyfriend Mike and I drive home from the movie theater), but we also have a monthly podcast.

Why support Driving Home the Movie and Just Plain Something? Because according to our fans, Mike and I are adorable to watch talk about movies. That's what we've heard, anyway. And this Patreon has helped us keep the projects going, especially during those times our day jobs haven't been enough. Funds from patrons will go towards being able to go see more movies, paying for our website/podcast hosting and slowly getting better equipment. If we can reach the goal for it, I'll also go back to doing regular written posts for the JPS site.
