I'm an artist creating site specific installations, performances, and art events with a focus on contrasting the ephemerality of the cityscape with trends in decorative and commercial arts. I use everything from plants and seeds to animal artifacts like shells, bone, and eggs in my work. I'm fond of creating jewelry and maps and decorative painting. You're most likely to be familiar with two projects of mine -  the San Francisco Ghost Sign Mapping Project, where I've meticulously documented, researched, and mapped San Francisco old signs, or the TifFAUXny Snails series, where I painted snails, often live ones, to look like stained glass.
