This is a singular word, transformed with a new meaning. Sometimes words can be used to hurt us rather than heal us. This is a singular word, designed for you to begin to re-learn it in a way that may change the way you see it.... and speak it.

"Love (is an act of forward momentum)"

This is hand typed, decorated with fallen flowers and plants, digitised and emailed.

Words of Wisdom
$5
per month

This is a small digitised poem. They are created to be almost like mantra's, or Haiku's so they stay with you when you need them. They are long enough to muse upon during meditation, or be a transformational mantra.

"There is no doubt

in your beauty

(that is as sure as the sky)

the game of life

is finding the gaps

to let your beauty

live through you.

(it needs you to survive)"

This is hand typed, decorated with fallen flowers and plants, digitised and emailed.

About Kate Radford - Poetic Artist

you are made of love
(that is why it belongs to you)

'19

Welcome.

I'm Kate Radford. I'm a poetic artist, performer, environmentalist and advocate for women. I use words as a way to transform myself, and the world.  I turn them into visual art pieces, performances, meditations and music. I believe in speaking ourselves to truth. And letting the world hear us. I make poetry not only the words I say but the life I lead.

(we must speak the love we deserve)

I write the words I need to hear. To heal, to transform. To write the world better than it is sometimes. I think in order to heal the wound, we can't be afraid to look.

Some poems are adaptations of single words, so you can re-write the world for yourself.

Extended, almost 'Haiku' provocations for small meditations and reflections. You can read them, and take them with you into the world, allow the seed to grow and see where it blooms in your life.

Longer poems, that give you more insight into the narrative of my life, where I am in the world, how I'm digesting it and finding the beautiful pain, and beautiful freedom within it. These are more personal, more revealing. I would love to share my story with you.

You can also join me for studio tours, from my studio at Fort Mason, San Francisco, or my home space in Mill Valley, CA. This way you can see what larger projects I'm working on. Peek in before they go to international exhibitions, or works in progress that are years in the making.

If you want to work more intimately, if you want to start to find your voice, connect to your creativity, find the energy to write and learn and need a mentor and supporter, you can join me on that path too. Nothing makes me happier than helping others find their creativity too. It looks beautiful on you.

Or you can simply donate.
Just give.
What love.

If for any reason, you feel it difficult to financially commit, but you are in need of loving words, healing poetry, or a creative connection please still contact me. This is for everyone, and together we find our way. Somehow, I will find a way to reach you. Know that I am here

Goals
$19 of $500 per month
This will be the first $500 I will have received from any kind of self-publishing, which is truly wonderful.

I've always wanted to publish my work, and this really seemed like the most natural way to do it. My poetry has always really been for people, created in response to the world around me, and this feels like the best way to reach people, to have a dialogue, and to feel connected.

Because so much of my words are spoken, or in performances, its sometimes difficult to track just how much I'm writing, and this way, it also allows us to build a collection, together we are writing the story of our lives.

What can be more beautiful than that.
