Over the Rainbow - Peter Hollens

Hi Patreon hollensfamily! I was able to fly my team to Hawaii and shoot this video on the shores of O'ahu because of your amazing support. Somewhere over the rainbow is one of the most iconic songs of all time, and my favorite version of it is actually sung by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole. I've always wanted to sing a version of this song, and thought the only way to pull it off would be to shoot the video in Hawaii where IZ is from! And the ONLY reason I was able to was because of YOU. Because you are supporting me on this amazing platform.... You guys are absolutely unreal, I am so thankful for you. ---> For the arrangement we ended up using popular hawaiian words and phrases that were meaningful to the song to replace his iconic ukulele sound. I think the end result is something that is very uplifting and has close ties to the originals feel and vybe.

Michael Little Perfect timing, Nathan. Stan Wright, who was married to one of my cousins and who I've known for 40 years or so, died Monday night in his sleep. Been feeling very cold and hollow the last couple of days. Thank you.
