About

Hi! I'm Keith Quinn. I'm a part-time comic creator (and full-time video game designer on Shroud of the Avatar) who would love to dedicate more time to writing and drawing his own comics (free on the web, normal comic cost for printed versions). I'll create comics and other art no matter what, but Patreon pledges will be an ongoing inspiration for me to create more, and more often. My most recent focus is my Playtime Projectscomic (there's a strip at the top of this page), but I have a variety of interests so you should know there's other stories inside me that just need a bit of enticement to show themselves...like that one about urban gnomes, or that far-future galactic-scale apocalypse story....

Anyway, where was I? Oh, yeah! A few years ago, I started creating comics in my spare time. I worked on Local Heroes™ for about five years, and had a lot of fun creating stories about a powerless sidekick named Squire and his adventures. While I was still working on Local Heroes, I started also working on Playtime Projects, a comic about a bunch of foul-mouthed puppets at a dysfunctional children's show. While both comics were ongoing, new Playtime Projects strips were rare, but recently I've returned to putting out new ones.

A long time ago (in the 90s), I was an artist for a company that focused on biography and spoof comics. After they folded, I kept going, namely with my own Heroes Incorporated® comics. Alas, my comic career coincided with a slump in the industry and eventually I shifted to a more practical career. But my love for sequential art never faltered, and, as I said above, I'm working on more comics again.

And so, for a small pledge, you can inspire me to create better comics, and more of them.
Goals
$0 of $100 per creation
If I hit $100 per comic strip, I'll post a brand new illustration of one of my characters with each new strip.
