Hi! I'm Kelly. Nice to meet you.

I am 22 years old and based in Brooklyn, NY. I am a poet and a writer for Thought Catalog. Along with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry, I am a three-time recipient of the Andonis Decavalles Poetry Award.

poems published:

Local Wolves

"still"
The Rising Phoenix Press

"the difference between withering and weathering"
     "the 27 club"
Pour Vida Zine

"ghost"

Words are important to me. I am authentic in my writing, with transparency and raw language. I have the urge to tell a story in every poem, to inspire others with love, to show the good and the bad and the ways in which I grew from it all. Every time I write, I learn about myself. With poetry, I can share my thoughts, feelings, and love with anyone who is willing to listen and feel, too.
