Hello you wonderful person bothering to even read this page! I'm Kez. I make webcomics! I'm also an MD/PhD student in Upstate NY, an avid martial artist, and likely a bit crazy. The webcomic I'm currently making is called What it Takes. It's a long-form (story) comic that follows one rough and ready 'gal named Colbey, as she hunts through a post-apocalyptic world looking for a guy named Peter Wolfe. Instead of zombie-outbreak, think science-conspiracy. But don't let that scare you, because there's plenty of violence. Which reminds me, this comic is rated R!

What I've usually done:
I've been making webcomics for over 10 years now (like I said, I'm likely a bit crazy), and occasionally I've offered certain incentives for people to support those comics. For example, I often offer extra updates, downloadable content, or wallpapers.

What I'd like to do [with this Patreon]:
While it's nice to make a bit of money doing extra work atop unpaid work, it's even better to get paid to do the original work. And, well, comics are work. I make content that you hopefully enjoy. And if you enjoy it enough, and are financially secure enough, and are generous enough, it would be really awesome of you to send a dollar or two my way. In return, I will keep doing what I've been doing for the past ten years, and finish up What it Takes. At least half of everything earned with this Patreon will be saved to help print the comic upon completion. Previously it was a 50/50 split, with half the proceeds used to help treat my precious dog for cancer, but as it the case with hemangiosarcoma, Indy went fast. Fuck cancer.
The recommended amount per person to donate is $2. All patrons will get access to the What it Takes pages early (as they are completed) in the patron-only feed.
