Matthew Britton Thanks Matthias. This was my first piece in a more realistic style (where i'm trying to go). That sort of prometheus vibe was just what I was going for - you got it spot on :) High tech but not too clean cut because, you know, human beings have got their hands on it. There's quite a few technical bits in this painting that annoy the hell out of me. It was experimentation but I got lazy and impatient. I'd rather move on than fix them though... it's a good reminder for the future.

Matthew Britton I've just started painting a medieval piece and already i'm pining for slick glass and weird futuristic materials.... so expect things weighted in a heavily sci-fi way going forward. :)
