Colin Moriarty, Nick Scarpino, Tim Gettys, and I (Greg Miller) quit our jobs at IGN.com, and it’s all your fault.

When we launched this Patreon, we HOPED we’d get $5,000. You people blew past that milestone in the first day, and as the number kept climbing, thoughts about striking out on our own kept coming.

See, we loved being at IGN, but being there meant we couldn’t really tackle the things we wanted on Kinda Funny. Sure, I love debating if a hot dog is a sandwich as much as the next guy, but we really wanted to talk about that Star Wars trailer, Scott Snyder’s recent run on Batman, and, of course, games.
