Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward cats is a non-profit based in South Los Angeles that serves the city's most vulnerable felines: feral cats & kittens. Each year we save thousands of kitties from the streets, the shelter, and euthanasia through donations, volunteers, & community partnerships.

Los Angeles has a vast cat overpopulation problem due to the lengthy breeding season our mild weather affords.  As a result, every year thousands of healthy kittens are euthanized in shelters due to a lack of resources.  Kitty Bungalow addresses this problem from several sides, including our vital use of TNR (Trap Neuter Return) to stabilize and improve the health of cat colonies.

Students enrolled at Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats are typically kittens rescued from the streets or shelter death row.  A Charm School education includes medical, social, and behavioral training to take these kitties from hiss to home.

In addition to adoptions and TNR, Kitty Bungalow has several other life-saving programs like Working Cat -- rescues un-adoptable feral cats and places them as mousers (eco-friendly pest control) on private property.  Homeschool empowers good samaritans with the tools and resources to safely care for their found kittens until they're old enough for adoption.

In 2019 Kitty Bungalow partnered with Spay4LA with the goal of performing 50 spay/neuters each week to curb the seasonal flood of kittens. As of April 20, 2019 we have performed 345 TNRs preventing thousands more ending up in the street or in shelters.

Financial support goes toward food, litter, medical expenses like vaccines and spay/neuter, microchip, toys & treats for socialization & behavioral training.
