I am a biosystems engineer & scientific software developer, primarily interested in Python/C++.

I'm working on free & open source software and hardware for science and engineering.

I'm a Debian Linux Mantainer mostly working on Science Team packages, especially FreeCAD and its ecosystem of related packages. Besides working on Debian and FreeCAD itself, I'm also the FreeCAD sysadmin and I'm interested in using my Linux Foundation Certified Systems Administrator training to help the project by maintaining useful infrastructure.

I love being able to work on technology that empowers people, but since I don't get paid to do it, I'm asking for your support to help sustain my work.

I currently re-post my monthly summaries from my blog here, but very soon I'm starting a Twitch & Youtube presence, where I'll be making videos about:
  • how to use and contribute to scientific software on Linux
  • using Debian/Ubuntu in real engineering projects for my home lab
  • my open hardware work and the ATX Hackerspace
and livestreaming my hacking sessions.

You can also follow me on Twitter.
