I am an early-career agricultural engineer who moonlights as a software developer & sysadmin. I'm in love with the way FreeCAD, Linux, and open source software can empower and educate people.

I want to take my software & sysadmin background and combine it with the devops mindset to accelerate the development of FreeCAD. I also work on bringing scientific software to Debian & Ubuntu through the Debian Science team.

I am the sysadmin for the FreeCAD project, and eventually I want to work my way up to being a core developer as I learn the software stack that makes up FreeCAD. Additionally, I want to run a Youtube channel which uses FreeCAD & Python to bring engineering education to the masses, and I hope you will support me on Patreon to help me accomplish this goal.

You make the rules, boss! Tell me what you'd like to work on and I'll give it a significant slice of my monthly FOSS work, plus a report in the monthly writeup.
Goals
$36 of $100 per month
This starting goal will put me at about $1-2 per hour of work on FreeCAD. If I reach it I will start putting out videos on FreeCAD & engineering on Linux.
