Replace & Upgrade Broken Equipment
Our equipment lives a tough life - so do we - as a result most of it is either broken or held together by duct tape - no seriously! It's kind of worrying! Frequently our computer or camera equipment is non-functional which means much of the content we share is produced on borrowed equipment - we'd really like to improve the quality of our productions, including buying a drone, better cameras, new mounts, mics and a new GoPro and also additional lens so that we can shoot more footage at night.
Hired Help
Once we start generating enough money we'll be able to hire camera operators and/or editors to help us improve the quality of our videos. Many other similar sized YT channel hire help but up until now we are still a one-man band as we don't generate enough revenue to pay for the gasoline, never mind help with the videos. Not only will this allow us to produce videos quicker - but we'll be able to share a different perspective of the adventure by using drones and more long distant shots.

If we had enough money to put all of our ideas into action we'd make the best flippin Travel & Adventure Channel the likes of YouTUBE has ever seen....hang on, aren't we already doing that? ;) All jokes aside, it would be awesome to be able to share with you more perspectives of Kombi Life, LIVE content, Podcasts, Interviews, Stories etc. Plus we'd have a chance to work on a secret side projects like a #$%%%@%%%$%#@@* Kombi Life is more than a full time job but unfortunately not all of that time is spent on video production.
Getting to this level of Patreon support would bring a whole knew level of unrestricted creative possibilities. It would mean we don't have to spend our time looking for and working with sponsors, so more time could be spent creating and sharing great new content.
It sucks being limited by money when you're following your dreams and your ambitions are so high, but even though we're your friends online...we are still bound by the real world!
We have a bunch of pending adventures in the pipeline (India via tuktuk, Africa via camel, crossing the world on a motorbike with Alaska on the handle-bars etc, all in the cause of inspiration and charity) and at some point we will be sailing too. We're hoping that you will be there with us..

Our life in our VW Bus is so exciting that we want to share it with you. So we've opened the doors to our tiny home to anyone adventurous enough to join us. As you can see from this video our equipment breaks as often as our Kombi - Not surprising really as we've taken you through countless engine rebuilds and up and down volcanoes through caves and canyons and..well, you were there!
We've been running on pennies throughout this project, but that's OK that is part of the challenge. However we don't want that to stop us sharing the adventure with you in the best ways possible, and in order to do that we need to generate some income to invest into the channel.
