Having a good web host costs money. $25.00 a month will pay for my web hosting.
One extra update a week
Currently, I plan to update on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. If I get $50.00 a month, I will add another day of updates to that schedule.
Give the editor a Starbucks Card
Right now, my editor works for free. And while I appreciate her support, she needs to be thought of. She has a Starbucks addiction. I will give her a Starbucks gift card monthly for her trouble.

I commissioned and paid out of pocket for my art. Good art isn't horribly expensive, but it does cost money. I would try and get new art to help with the storytelling should we meet this goal.

My name is Kyleen Valleaux, and boy, do I have a lot of stories to tell you! Not all of them will be true, most of them will have no socially redeeming value, and they tend to be a bit smutty. However, they are fun. I write pure escapism fluff.
The world has a lot of problems. It's hard to find things that will make us just forget our daily struggles. Not to run away forever, but for a few hours, ten minutes, whatever time you can set aside for yourself to unwind and enjoy a story.
I've been writing my stories for myself and shared with my friends for years and years. I've been encouraged to engage a larger audience by these friends. That's why I've decided to go the route of self-publishing. I have a number of stories that I'm getting ready to release. Traditional publishing has an allure, but honestly, this isn't my full-time gig, and it really has to be in order to shoulder your creations into agents' and publishers' hands.
The first I am releasing is a web serial, Chronicles of the Garlon T'zen. (You can read it here: http://www.garlontzen.com) I have been writing in this universe for over 20 years! It's come from an early addiction to anime and manga. When I originally wrote it, I figured it would be a comic book, and often reads like a cheap adventure novel with smut.
Oh, did I say smut? Yes, yes I did.
Here's the thing, I love a good story and love rolling my characters around with each other. Publishing the story, freely on the web has a challenge in that it's likely underage readers will hit your site. Rather than try to fight with adult content screening, I'm going to post those smutty portions of the story here, on Patreon. All I ask is for a dollar a month for you to have access to them. Maybe I'll make enough to pay for my hosting, maybe I won't. But what I won't have to worry about is having to screen to make sure my readers are of an appropriate age.
The plan is to use the money donated here to pay for hosting, more art, and maybe be able to give my gracious editor enough to go out to dinner once in a while.
Once a story arc is complete on the website, I plan to sell the complete novel in both electronic and in print-on-demand format. The naughty bits will be included in those novels.
I have other projects that I am working to bring to the world as well, and people subscribed to me here will get very first access to news and other goodies as well.
