About HALLEY LABS
i'm emma (and every alias under HALLEY LABS), and i've been creating and sharing my music, notecharts (StepMania, BMS), games, and more online for 20+ years. i'm definitely best known for my music, such as internet meme sensations (for better or worse) Intensive Care Unit, Rock My Emotions, and more. in internet time that's nearly ancient history, though, and things have changed a lot for my work since then! maybe you should check out some of what i've been up to - i think echoes of my old work still continue to reverberate through what i do:
my goal through Patreon is to continue to do this full time and offer as much as i can freely to the entire internet. this includes things like well over 10 gigabytes (compressed as FLAC) of audio resources/samples/etc spanning the last decade of my work, a bunch of free game projects (and their Clickteam Fusion project files), semiregular streams (including live music production/improv, DJ sets, one-off events, and general hangouts), synth/effect plugins, and whatever the hell else. i want as much of this to be free for as many people as possible, and that can only happen with the support of those who are able to.
the tiers are pretty simple as a result, since i don't want to paywall what i do (though i will still post here, just not exclusively) as i don't necessarily agree with the concept of bogarting culture/ideas/etc when digital is post-scarcity. it is thanks to this support, though, that i am able to continue doing what i'm doing full time and offer all of it to everybody.
