hi i'm lark!

i'm a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and performer.  i've been writing music since i was in middle school and people seem to like it.  i also perform with antioquia, snow angel, and emily butterfly and friends. 

what's going on here? this is a page where i will be posting songs and shows as they happen.  you'll pledge to support me a certain amount for every song or show that i create.  i'll be honest... i haven't totally figured out how to post content on this website yet, how to get you the links that you need.. etc..  so bare with me, and let me know what's working and what's not working.

why should i do this? you should do this because music costs money to make, and i love free stuff as much as the next guy, but look man, at some point you need to reimburse the artists you love so that they can keep doing what they do.  as of now, i have a job teaching music to babies that covers my rent and food for the month, but that's pretty much it, so all of what you are contributing right now goes DIRECTLY into my music-making.  it will go towards gear, promotion, paying other musicians and producers, and touring costs.  if i start making enough through this site that i can quit my job and do music full-time, i will tell you.  but for now, know that every dime of what i get here is becoming part of my music.

will i be special if i do this?  yes, very special.  so special that if you pledge $10 or more, you will get a handmade bracelet with a number on it representing the order in which you became a supporter.  this bracelet will be your ticket into shows, parties, and more as i get famouser and famouser  :)
