Back in 2008, a handful of nerdy editors for a major gaming website had a dream: They would goof around on microphones and drink on the job. And thus, the wonderfully profane podcast known as TalkRadar was born. Hundreds of hours later, after covering important topics like French wrestlers and nukes in Superman's rectum, best pals Chris Antista, Henry Gilbert, Dave Rudden, and many other cool people knew they needed even more time… more LASER time…
Since the first episode of Laser Time went live in September 2011, they - or WE - have been doing our damnedest to give you the best podcasts ever, putting to use all the esoteric knowledge we've collected in our dorky lives. We cover Japanese ape attacks, songs that fill us with shame, and the dirtiest Xmas music ever recorded. Despite having full-time jobs, we worked hard to make the ever-evolving show as fun as it could be.
And it kept growing. 2012 saw the additions of the weekly comic book show, Cape Crisis, and the dedicated wrestling program, Cheap Popcast. 2013 saw Vidjagame Apocalypse give LT the dedicated gaming show it needed. Over time we've added more streams, more articles, and hundreds more shows to LaserTimePodcast.com. And we're about to take our biggest step yet.
Chris, Henry, and Dave are free of those pesky jobs that get in the way of podcasting, and the guys are ready to give Laser Time their undivided attention. We, and the rest of the LT family, want to take the site to the next level. More audio, more video, more streams, more articles, more farting (as if that was possible). And we need YOUR support to do everything except fart.
If you've followed the Laser Time knuckleheads this long, now's the time we've all been waiting for. This is make or break, 4th and goal, other cliches! As always, the support of our fans keeps LT going, and to make this sustainable as a full-time operation for at least three people, we need the kind of monthly, regular support that Patreon (hopefully) provides.
If helping us was too complex before, if you were waiting for us to do a Patreon, if you were on the fence before, now, now, NOW is the time to make this work. We have so many plans for the future - just look at all those milestones! - and you can make them come true.
