From where flannel is required year-around and lumberjacks are king (sorry, Copper Kings), Last Best Press, LLC has setup shop to bring "Independent Publishing for Independent Authors." Nicholas Friesen and myself (Ethan H. Gaines) started the independent publishing company in the area we love and call home, so we can give back to our community in the only way we knew how: amazingly creative content.

My passion is to create and share those creations with people, so here on our Patreon I'll share amazing content with you. Choose from a tier to view first views of content ranging from upcoming novels to articles, digital copies of short stories (maybe a collection in the future?), uncut podcasts or exclusive podcasts, and vlogs. Yes, I'm experimenting with vlogging (inspired by my wife's addiction to the damned things), so I'll be interested to see what you guys think of the oddball life of an entrepreneur/writer/parent/husband/employee. I don't have enough heads for the hats I wear.

Baby steps! Due to the reality of life and time constraints, not all these tiers will be hitting at the same time. Tiers will be added as we grow, but we can't grow without you guys. Through your patronage, we'll be able to create more things not just on our Patreon but all across the board! Which means you'll benefit from the first views, digital copies, podcasts, and vlogs.

With your help, we can make the world a more entertaining place.
Tiers
Behind-the-Pages
$1 or more per month

Wonder what inspires a writer to write? Take a peek behind-the-pages to see what goes on behind the scenes. This tier includes: sneak peeks to chapters and scenes of upcoming works, history behind the novels, and notes on novels that include where the idea and development came from. Many of these will come in the form of short podcast episodes. Short but not without thought.

Keep in mind, most sneak peeks are unedited and not final, so they may have some mistakes and not be in the final work. This is for you to see what the raw manuscript looks like for a writer, and what gets cut from the original work.

Goals
$1 of $200 per month
When we reach $200 per month, I'll release the next tier: No Short Way. A tier with short stories in digital format.
