My name is Olivia and I am the creator of Last Eve Harvesting.

My mission is to reawaken the interconnections between the earth and people through Permaculture.

It all started with my grandmother, who fostered a love of plants for me. I can remember her encouraging me to put a plant cutting under a rock to "see if it would root" when I was younger.  She grew up relatively poor in rural Southern Maryland, yet her family was rich with abundance.  This was because the land provided all they needed.

I want this mission to reflect God's love for his people by providing such abundance all around us!

'Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?', or 'What shall we drink' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after these things, and your heavenly Father knows you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.'

Matthew 6:25-33

I want to help others share in God's provision through perennial planting and through using animals, soil conservation, water management, and a 'closed loop' system to help hold energy within a community.

I do this through careful planning and design, through a 'zero-waste' attitude, recycling, re-using, and living simply. This is Permaculture. This is Last Eve Harvesting. Please support us!
