Hi! I'm Lisa, a poet with a penchant for building dark worlds out of tiny details, working collaboritively with other artists & figuring out new ways to interact with poetry (in a game? a gif? as a bot? a sticker?).

I've been trying to move away from "connecting" on social media & find a way to build a more arts focused community, which is what I'm going to try to do here! I'll be posting writing-related mini-essays, tips, advice, upcoming events & future projects.

Even though Patreon bills itself as a way for creators to make money (which is always awesome), they have a built in blogging system, an easy way for people to follow you even if they're not patrons, & a way to store & share projects (like zines or text prints) to followers, which all seems ideal for the artist's space I'd like to create! To that end, the majority of my posts will be publicly viewable, so you can simply bookmark the page, or "follow" me if you are already signed up for Patreon.

I will likely try to figure out what sorts of things I can provide for members only going forward, so if you have any ideas for future offerings drop me a line: lisaisapoet [at] gmail [dot] com

Let's make art together!

If I reach 5 patrons, I'll make & digitally distribute a celebratory zine! It'll go out to all current patrons & all future ones as well.
