At Stats for Lefties, we provide election data and analysis from a socialist perspective. Most pundits and journalists steer clear of context and politics in their analysis of data, leaving the reader bored and uninspired. We reject this bland style of writing. We are pro-Corbyn, pro-Labour and proud of it, and our analysis of data is informed by that viewpoint.

Whether it's building spreadsheet models to turn poll data into seat projections, taking a look at interesting past elections, examining how popular policies and politicians really are, or bringing you cool stats you didn't even know existed, Stats for Lefties is a blog written by nerds, for nerds.

At the moment, we provide:

  • Monthly articles reviewing polling data, past elections and future elections
  • Regular Twitter commentary on polls and elections
  • Monthly averages of voting intention polls and 'Best Prime Minister' polls
  • A podcast

However, we'd like to do more.

By becoming a patron, you can fund our work on a sustainable basis, allow us to run more articles, do more in-depth analysis and branch out into video and podcast production.
