Funny Geek Analysis. Also the Daily Momo

Because gaming should be culture... not a culture war. Also, Momo is cute.

Milestone Goals
2 Milestone Goals
reached
60 FPS video capture
$800 per month
At this milestone I'll upgrade my capture card to capture in 60 frames per second.  Because it's the fuuuttttuuuuurreeee!
The Daily Momo will get its own twitter account
$900 per month
Managing more than one twitter account is not something I ever wanted to do, but His Lord Cuteness thinks it's a good idea to thank those who are supporting us... mainly him.  All Momo, all the time!  (And his friends of course, because he thinks they're cool!)
Better Production Values
$1,000 per month
Right now, I don't have the capacity to put intros and outros on my videos, edit them, or otherwise make them pretty, because the money coming in doesn't justify the time spent.  But at this level, it makes putting in the production values worth it.
Ad Free YouTube vids
$3,000 per month
At this level, my basic costs are covered, so I'll disable ads on the YouTube stuff to get rid of that annoyance.  Developer interviews, video blogs, and more, all ad free.
Liana K's Female Gamer Gaze
$5,000 per month
A video series with a feminist approach that talks about what's GOOD in games!  No versus anything!  Games are awesome!  Let's show the world why!

The goal is to create relevant, topical videos related to video games that are smart, fun, and brave.

UPDATE:  Current the channel is running based on the following format:

Monday: Mountain Monday/Momo Monday -- a day devoted to a deliberately positive "zen" approach from a gamer's perspective.

Tuesday: Tata's Tuesday -- consistently the most popular and controversial video of the week, Tata's Tuesday is a weekly focus on something about gender and video games.  What makes it different from other similar series is that it explores various theories and encourages viewers to apply these theories independently, instead of trying to be a final word on an issue.

Wednesday and Thursday are grab bag topics.  Patrons, please feel free to suggest themes for these days.

Friday: Feedback Friday -- a common complaint of pop culture feminists is that we don't engage with the criticism we receive.  Feedback Friday was created to do exactly that: respond to comments from Youtube, Twitter, and other sources.

Projects will include analysis and comedy videos with a focus on video games and other "geek"-related content, with a particular focus on gender analysis, since that seems to be what people are looking for from me.  The bigger budget we have, the more we can do, and the internet seems like the right place for that.

And, of course, the Daily Momo continues on twitter: your daily dose of cute, direct from his fluffiness.

I'd greatly appreciate help to make the next milestone.  60 fps content is important to many viewers, so I'd like to be able to make that upgrade.
