is creating the Light After Trauma Podcast

About Alyssa Scolari, LPC

As trauma therapist, I work with adolescents and adults who have histories of loss and trauma, many who have coped by developing raging eating disorders, addictions, self harm behaviors,  etc. Simultaneously, I am navigating my own journey of recovery from Complex PTSD. Over the years, I have realized that, although at times we can only feel darkness, there is, in fact, light to be found find in the aftermath of loss and trauma.

The Light After Trauma podcast has been created for those who are looking for support, connection and guidance on how to reclaim their lives and thrive in the aftermath of grief, loss, and unbearable pain.

The LAT podcast launched in late August of 2020. In just over five months since the launch, we have had thousands of downloads across six continents, thirty-eight of the United States, and twenty-nine countries!

While I am so thrilled at the success of the podcast thus far, it has taken a great deal of time, effort, and money to be able to produce great content on a weekly basis. Significant fees are spent on multiple podcasting and recording platforms, artwork creation, editing/sound quality software, scheduling platforms, and transcription services. In order to continue providing listeners with high quality content, any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. The goal is to continue spreading awareness and instilling hope in a world full of trauma survivors who often see nothing but darkness. Thank you in advance for your generosity and contributions!
