Words do matter

There's little doubt that language, whether written or spoken, has power. One only needs to read the Gettysburg Address or listen to Martin Luther King deliver his "I Have a Dream" speech to understand the power of words and their effect on human emotions.

The power to motivate, to inspire, to educate, to inform, to create, to govern, and to change public opinion all rely on the effective use of words and the freedom to express our opinions and ideas with very few restrictions.

Without freedom of speech and the open and honest exchange of ideas and opinions, democracy, as we know it, will cease to exist. But wait, there's more...

In a free society, the reader, the listener, the audience also has an obligation. You must do your best to listen and understand the meaning of the message as it relates to your own experience.
Judging truth and relevance is tricky. Understanding the words and context of any argument is crucial to that judgment.

My goal here is to translate the language of the "cult of culture" and to root out the truth as fairly and impartially as possible.

Think for yourself and swim against the tide of popular culture in defense of what is right and good. Your donation allows us to continue bringing clarity to chaos.

The support you show here will help preserve the voice of reason and debate.

Thank you
