Here at Liminal Stories, we're dedicated to publishing fiction that's just a little bit out of the ordinary. Starting in May, we'll be bringing you tales of pizza dimensions, alien takeovers, fox magicians and winged radio operators. But that's only a small fraction of what's out there -- we want to find more of these stories, the ones that are smart and strange and cut to the bone, and share them with the world.

Liminal isn't going anywhere. We started this magazine as a labor of love, and we're committed to searching out stories and paying our authors professional rates for years to come. But your support will allow us to continue to thrive and grow, perhaps buying an extra story for an issue or compensating our amazing volunteer artists for their talent and time.

When we launched Liminal late last year, the outpouring of support and excitement was greater than anything we ever expected. The coming months will bring another open submission period, more fabulous fiction (and poetry, starting with Issue 2!), and more adorable antlered owls. We hope you'll join us.

Best,
Shannon Peavey and Kelly Sandoval

Prairie Owl
At Liminal, we're known for rejections that make writers feel warm and fuzzy inside. But why limit that experience to your writing? Support us at the $10 level, and provide us a link to your blog, twitter, or website, and we'll reject you personally.

It's not you, it's us. You're just too cool for us.

We'll also send you a postcard of the issue's cover art. If you really want us to, we'll even reject you by postcard.

Barn Owl
Who knows what thoughts lurk in the minds of editors? Support us at the Barn Owl level and find out. For every issue that you support at this level, you can suggest a Liminal blog topic, and either Shannon or Kelly will discuss their thoughts on the Liminal Stories blog.

Blog topics must be at least generally writing or Liminal Stories related, and we reserve the right to determine whether suggestions are appropriate.

We'll also send you a thank you postcard with the issue's cover art. No blog posts on the postcard though. We can't write that small or that neatly.

Antlered Owl
For every issue you support us at the Antlered Owl level, we will give you all the things. Postcard, (extremely) personal rejection, blog topic suggestion, and we will personally send you cookies! Delicious cookies, baked fresh and shipped to your door.

A few limitations: We are (sadly) not a bakery, so we can't accommodate special orders. Also, while we love our international supporters, the cost of shipping cookies internationally is way out of our Patreon budget.
Goals
$223 of $500 per Issue
If we reach $500 per issue, we'll make e-reader copies of Liminal available free to our patrons.
