i’m glad you’re here, because i could use someone like you on this team, and i hope i could offer you some greatness in return. i’m on a mission to get people to stop, reflect, and go deeper into what it means to be a human in a very digital world. i want to do this through music, writing, art and code itself.

you might be the perfect fit to help this mission.

first, more about me: i do a bunch of stuff to make a living, including social media consulting, digital marketing strategy, front-end web development and design. but more importantly, i’m a singer-songwriter, pianist and violinist. i love taking the lyricism of the traditional singer-songwriter genre and meshing them with futuristic electronic sounds. i want to merge how we think of music traditionally with what music means today, without physical limitations, with new challenges, with new technical possibilities.

this leaves us a bunch of what-ifs: what if i wrote a song with variables in the lyrics? what if all my merchandise was printed on demand — how would that change the content? how are people shifting their listening habits, and how does that affect the music i want to make? how can we use technology as an artistic expression to question technology itself and be more human?

i want to explore all these questions and more.

with your help, we can surface philosophical questions and have a damn good time doing it. we can draw people in with a bit of quirkiness, a bit of musical poetry, a bit of that unnamable thing that connects humans to each other, and use 100% organic human-created technology to do it.

most crowdfunding campaigns ask for a pile of money for a one-time project. that’s great and definitely has its place. but this platform, patreon, allows you to support me on an ongoing, sustainable basis: one donation amount for every original song i release.

i’m planning one new song about every other month at first, but with the success of this patreon campaign, i hope to release more. (don’t worry: you can set a monthly limit to your pledge so you don’t go over a budget.)

at first, i will simply be releasing home recordings with vocals and piano, but once we hit the milestone of $1,000 a song, I’ll be able to hire professional producers to work with me in a studio on arrangements and instrumentation. trust me, this will be the milestone that makes a major difference. but we can’t reach that one until we hit all the milestones leading up to it.
