About Lizzie Edwards

Welcome! 

Thank you for joining me for a journey into yoga. Yoga has helped me feel amazing and I hope it can do the same for you. After I had my son, postnatal yoga helped me to regain strength but also learn how to relax. I felt so much better after doing yoga after becoming a mum and it's what motivated me to be a yoga teacher!

In this online platform, you'll find yoga videos and audio recordings that you can do whenever you like. Everything is designed especially for postnatal bodies and whether you're 6 weeks or 6 years postnatal you'll be able to benefit!

The yoga classes are short so that you can do these videos and classes with your baby, while they're napping. They're specifically designed so that you can fit them into little moments in your day and not stress over having to be there at any particular time.

What postnatal yoga is…

  • time for YOU to relax and unwind... and to learn techniques to help you as you journey through the craziness of new parenthood, which can be really helpful if you’re feeling anxious or low, or if you’re experiencing postnatal depression
  • specially created to be safe for after birth...a place for you to get to know your body postnatally, and learn how to move and exercise safely for long-term strength

…and what it isn’t!

  • Zero diet culture here. This isn't a diet, new mum exercise plan, or anything to do with ‘bouncing back’. The yoga I offer is about celebrating where you are, what your body has been through, and adjusting to new parenthood. 
  • A place where you’ll be judged about birth experiences, feeding choices, parenting, or anything else. I hate the judgment that happens in the parenting world. Everything is welcome.

About me

I'm a yoga teacher, mum to a toddler and postnatal doula based in Northampton, UK and I teach pregnancy, postnatal and non baby-related yoga to all kinds of people on and offline.
I have specialist training in pregnancy and postnatal yoga and exercise and I'm completely obsessed by supporting people during their pregnancies and beyond, through a time of monumental change in their lives.
