We're here to create a 'patron platform' (like Patreon is) for indie musicians. We believe deeply in the promise of the 'subscription economy' and believe its emphasis on relationships can help us reverse many of our current system's shortcomings.
Since we don't have enough to develop and test our own platform yet, we're using Patreon's platform to manage campaigns for a few initial artists and use the experience to help us better understand what indie musicians want most from LocalStar.
We look to share what we learn with Patreon, and help connect a few more creators and patrons along the way.
