Motion-Capture!
I've already bought 2 Kinect cameras out of my own funds to get this started, but hitting this milestone will allow me to purchase the 'Basic Edition' license for iPiSoft Studio! This is the software required to translate raw Kinect capture data into usable animations in Source Filmmaker. This milestone will open up a new level of animation quality for my videos, as well as potentially saving me a huge amount of time!
VFX Breakdowns
For each new video I create, I will follow it up with a detailed ‘scene deconstruction’ video focusing on an individual shot, and showing how I reached the final render. This will include the initial scenebuilding, the translation of raw Kinect footage into usable SFM animations, the lighting setup, camera placement, and all post-production work in After Effects and Premiere.
60-FPS Video
I've always wanted to make an ultra high framerate video! This essentially means the animation would be incredibly smooth, and visually very different from my usual videos which are 24fps for reference. This may end up becoming a 720p video instead, as 60fps at 1920x1080 might not actually be feasible, but either way after we hit this milestone I will begin working on a high framerate video!

My name is Lawrence Rippingale, i'm known online as 'Lozeng3r' and I am an aspiring Filmmaker, Graphic Designer and Photographer living in the UK.
I love filmmaking and animation- it's currently a hobby that I only indulge in during my free time, as I do not earn enough through ad revenue on Youtube to be able to spend as much time animating as I would like. I have rent and bills to pay every month, which I do so through my Graphic Design work, but hopefully I will soon be able to shift away from that and make some form of a living from filmmaking. I would love to be able to work on new projects on a full-time basis!

Animating a video can take a very long time, then there's also the lighting, cinematography, post production and sound design to think about. I typically spend 2 months working through these processes, which are all unpaid and it means I have no actual income for that period, and no way of paying my rent and bills.
