$797

After a life changing moment, I changed my life for good.  Packed in my job and sold everything to go travelling around the world, exploring new places and racing International Cross-Country races around the globe on a motorcycle I built myself called 'Basil'.  I wanted to share the story with the world and have done just that.

Working with various partners and sponsors we already created over 120 professionally edited episodes and after 4 years the project is still pushing on strong however, I'd like to do more and do it better! We've already been able to remove YouTube adverts and make longer episodes of my regular series Races to Places with the Patreon support we have to date.  However, the project is always evolving with new ideas we are trying hard to catch up with editing so that we can share more real-time episodes going forwards.  To be able to do this we need your help.

Currently I (Lyndon) am the 'film crew', and the project has a single full time editor back in the UK working on each weekly episode (and occasional feature length 'specials').  As the project had evolves, the need for additional editors and out-sourcing of tasks has become more apparent and I cannot continue with the level of funding I had at the beginning.  The quality is always increasing and unfortunately along with it the costs.

The largest project was the film "Malle Moto - The Forgotten Dakar Story" viewable here: https://youtu.be/JjF_m99VAv8  Despite high production costs, it was made free to view, just like all my other episodes and I want to continue to deliver free media but this is where you come in.

If you like what I do, you can help by voluntarily paying a small donation to the future of the project and in exchange I'll promise to use every penny to keep making the media that you tell me you love.

A little help from many of you makes a huge difference to the project.  Thanks to all those who have already signed up and I hope you will consider doing the same.

Goals
$797 of $1,000 per uploaded episode of 'Races To Places'
If we can generate $1000 per episode, we will look at directing editing man-power onto creating unique and seperate content available only to Patreon supporters that focus' on the more technical side of bike preparation and equipment, the types of things you have asked for in the comments and we'd love to help!
