Hello loves! I come to you as a graduate student working on her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received my Bachelors of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience at UCSD. I love neuroscience, the brain is so incredibly beautiful! Let me share my love for neuroscience with you! My passions also encompass my desire to help others! I want to improve as many lives as I possibly can, I want to make this a better world for everyone. I want everyone to look at themselves and see their awesomeness, their potential, and think about how absolutely amazing brains are, how amazing you are and how awesome your brain is! I am determined to break down the barriers and tear a part stigmas surrounding mental health while I also work on changing  policies surrounding mental health in the medical world and with insurance companies. Let's all make a change for the better, help me break down these prejudicial walls around mental health care, while I also partake in research to make new discoveries in neuroscience! Going to graduate school is overwhelming at times, but boy-oh-boy do I love school and do I love learning. Being able to afford my continued education so that I may be able to help others one day... Well that has been a major struggle for me. In all honesty it's been very tough... But then the other day my friend told me about this wonderful site. She gave me hope that I can get through this financially tough time and maybe even inspire some people too! I would love to share with all of you my projects, information about the brain, fun neuroscience facts, my progress in school, and basically my journey through the world of graduate school, clinical mental health counseling, and neuroscience. Thank you so much for your support! Xoxo

Affording school... *sigh* has not been easy... I've taken out more student loans than I have ever wanted. You go into this educational endeavor with the best intentions and with the ideal that you won't need to take on loans. Alas... I thought I could perservere but that wasn't the case. I couldn't afford school on my own so I took out way too many loans and continue am in need to do so... The sad thing is that they're barley covering it for me, and that's not even adding in basic needs and rent. So my goal is to start eradicating some of my debt, afford my continued education, and keep my current residence while I provide some fun facts about neuroscience and mental health, updates on my schooling and projects, and perhaps not super funny *but maybe kinda funny... maybe* science jokes and more!! Thank you for your support!
