I can afford to hire my live-in partner as my full time assistant, allowing me to focus on creating things rather than the necessary evils of business administration. I'll also be able to travel to conventions more frequently, maintain awesome project-related merchandise, and stop borrowing money off my mum!

ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Rose, AKA Machinesbleedtoo. I am a game developer, writer, illustrator, comic artist, worldbuilder and lover of all things science. I have been working in illustration since 2005, although I thought of it more as a hobby- I was ashamed of wanting to do art as a career. Until 2013, when I came to terms with it being my calling, so I decided to pursue it professionally. 2014 is when I was forced into the career choice whether I liked it or not due to my various disabilities- and so this patreon was born.
My mission as an artist- and person in general- is to convey the beauty in that which is conventionally seen as ugly or odd. The standard of what is attractive or "normal" I find unrealistic and boring. I aim to cherish and celebrate the diversity that exists in the world through my artistic endeavors and help other people do the same.

ABOUT MY PROJECTS
All projects will revolve around an alien planet named Hyaline, that I've spent the better part of a decade doing worldbuilding for. Currently, the projects I am working on are:
A horror comic called Nails & Teeth [ website ]
A symbiotic survival videogame called Hyaline [ website ]
And an artbook containing concept art from both
The income raised goes towards paying myself & my gamedev team for our time and work regarding these projects, and ensuring I can afford to continue making cool stuff for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, you'll get awesome things in return for supporting us!
