Hi Everyone!

Thanks for coming by the Making Ways page. First off, if you are new to the show, check it out on iTunesSoundcloud, or your platform du jour. I'm a longtime listener, first time podcast maker. I started Making Ways as a means to inspire and educate people about the multitude of careers available in creativity.

And while there’s no blueprint for success as a creative professional, there’s plenty to learn from others who have already made their way. In each episode of Making Ways, I will chat with a guest from the world of art, business, music, technology, marketing, or design about the roads they have traveled on their journey to success. Whether you’re pursuing your dream job, seeking mentorship, or simply want to hear from others who are thriving in creative fields, Making Ways will enlighten and inspire you as you blaze your own trail.

My own career has been just as winding as many of the guests I'll be interviewing. I've been an artist my whole life, and my passion for music was my gateway to marketing. I worked for Sony Music before diving deeper into online marketing at Simon & Schuster, and then left NYC for San Francisco to join Google as global head of digital publishing. Today, I run my own marketing, strategy, and storytelling firm called OpenVerse, and spend time illustrating and writing about music again.

If you are enjoying listening to Making Ways as much as I am making it, feel free to contribute on Patreon and join the team. Your funds will go towards making the show even better and positively impacting: equipment, editing, web, hosting fees, graphics, and events we plan on hosting in the future. Or you can think of it as a super cool, cyber tip jar. And if you can't contribute today, no worries! Have a listen to Making Ways, subscribe, and add a review in iTunes. Reviews can be a great way to turn more people onto the show. Thanks again for coming by!
