Childhood Story Video
Growing up I wrote LOTS of stories. When I was younger these stories were written AND illustrated. Once we hit this goal I will share with you one of my oldest stories and film myself reading it to you.
Tech Upgrade!
Hitting this goal will allow me to finally upgrade some of my gear! I'll finally be able to purchase a circle light, green screen, and eventually a new camera body (or two!) My video production quality can only go up from here!
Monthly Live Streams
If I hit this goal I will have the support I need to really make being a creative one of my main-time passions, because of this I'll be able to do live streams more often. How about once a month?! Who knows, Emily may even make the occasional appearance!
Custom Espionage Cosmetics Collection
Once I hit this goal I will be able to do something I've been wanting to do for so long: create a custom "malarayofsunshine" Espionage Cosmetics collection. You will have all made this possible, so as Patreons I'll make sure you have a discount for the collection in my store. (;
Begin Working on a Monthly Web Series!
Isn't this elusive?! No but really, this is a thing I would be able to begin pouring money and time into if I had this much monthly support. I'm not going to say too much, but I'll leave this one hint here: remember that Belle cosplay I did at ECCC? (; PS- I am talking HIGH production quality here, like, really, really posh videos made with really, really posh equipment.

Welcome to my Patreon page. My name is Mallory Shoemaker and I’m a multi-faceted digital content creator, makeup artist, photographer, writer, and Disney addict living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I’ve been posting videos on my YouTube channel since March of 2008 and currently post a new video every single Tuesday. My channel has a little bit of everything. I enjoy making beauty videos, singing, and vlogging (video blogging). I have also recently begun to further explore the wonderful world of director/editor/writer with a mini-series my girlfriend and I collaborate on called The UnFairytales and have just produced my very first short documentary titled "The Little Things."
What is Patreon/Why should I care?
Patreon is a brilliant way for the audiences of independent content creators (like me) to connect with them. It's sort of like an on-going Kickstarter campaign where audiences can directly influence and support their favourite artists, but instead of pledging a whole bunch of money all at once, Patreon's can pledge a few dollars a month to support their favourite artists and make it possible for them to create even more free content for them each month. Every single dollar helps!
Because the people like you who are signing up to be my Patreons are quite literally making it possible for me to live my dreams I've created a bunch of fun incentives and rewards for you guys along the way. I hope even the little ways I can find to give back make investing in me worth it!
Where is the money going? Isn't your content free anyway?
My content on YouTube channel and on my blog has always been free and it always will be, Patreon won't change that. However, since I make videos twice a week (and would really love to be making more) and that takes a lot of time and resources, I'm hoping Patreon can be a way for me to supplement the money I need to live. Plus, I have so many new projects I want to work on: more UnFairytales with Emily, future documentaries, a more diverse video range on my channel weekly, not to mention all the written content I want to add to my blog (blog posts, weekly poems, short stories). By becoming a Patreon you'll be helping me make all of this possible.
Creating content for people to enjoy makes me happy, and It really, really makes me happy when other people are happy. If the idea of content creators online asking for money isn't your cup of tea, you don't have to donate! Honestly, I really think of this website as more of a giant, online tip jar where you can throw a couple bucks in the direction of the artists you most enjoy. Please don't ever feel obligated and only ever "tip" what you can afford. I genuinely appreciate each and every one of you, Patreon or not.
