The Return of Cosplay Work Logs
$650 per month
By request, cosplay work logs are returning to my channel! These videos are step-by-step diaries of the process of making a costume from start to finish. Due to the time they take to film and edit, I've had to forego making them for the last year, but I'm looking forward to the chance to bring this popular series back!
Launch Cosplay Merchandise Store
$850 per month
As a fashion major, something I've always wanted to do is to start a line of clothing and other wearable merchandise, and being able to incorporate cosplay would make it even better! More information will be announced as funding approaches this stretch goal.
Video Series: Cosplay Fitness
$1,000 per month
Now that I'm pursuing certification as a fitness instructor, I'd love to create a series of videos about nutrition and workouts with a cosplay twist! The series will kick off with a Cosplay Fitness Bootcamp, and new videos will continue to come out afterwards that offer tips, advice, and workouts designed for busy cosplayers.
Video Series: Cosplay Cookin'!
$2,000 per month
For anyone who follows me on Tumblr and Instagram, y'all know that I love cooking. I get a lot of requests to share healthy recipes, and I'd love to take that a step further by combining it with my cosplay hobby to make character-themed cooking videos! Due to the cost of supplies and extra equipment, this is a pricier stretch goal for the future, but one I'm very excited about nonetheless!
Cosplay Tutorial Book
$3,000 per month
The furthest stretch goal is to publish a book that acts as a beginner's guide to cosplay. Rather than relying on just the internet for help, new cosplayers will be able to have what's essentially a physical "cosplay bible" with them at all times, which will include information about basic garment construction, prop making, wig styling, and more of the techniques that are essential to improving one's costuming skills. The costs of this stretch goal include writing, editing, publishing, and marketing.

Hi everyone! My name's Nina. Mangoes are delicious.

I've been cosplaying since 2007, and I'd like to think I've learned a thing or two after these past eight years! I do my best to provide tips and advice for young cosplayers as they begin their journey into this crazy world of dress-up -- which can be more than a bit overwhelming to newcomers.

From behind-the-scenes costume work logs, convention reports, and my series "Cosplay 101", I hope to give beginner cosplayers a helping hand and make them feel welcome in our community. I believe that anyone can cosplay, and more than anything else, cosplay is supposed to be fun!

The purpose of this Patreon is to make it possible for me to produce more helpful content that will benefit other cosplayers. Creating videos is an extremely time-consuming process, and doing more of it takes time away from other aspects of life (i.e. work). Support from patrons allows me to devote more time to creating the content they want to see, whether that's tutorials, help videos, or discussions about the cosplay hobby and community.

Thank you for your consideration, and I greatly appreciate your generosity if you choose to support my channel! Happy Cosplay!

Also! Just to be clear: absolutely none of the money earned through Patreon will be funding my costumes or convention attendance. Cosplay is my hobby, first and foremost, and I'm a firm believer that personal hobbies are something you should fund out of your own pocket. Fabric, Worbla, convention badges -- that's all coming out of my wallet and nowhere else. I've been managing my own budget for cosplay and conventions since I was a sophomore in high school, and that isn't ever going to change. It's my hobby, and I'll pay for it myself!

All donations will be put towards creating new YouTube content and interactive opportunities for viewers, as well as any necessary equipment upgrades or studio rentals to improve the quality of this content. The income from Patreon supporters will allow for an increase in the amount of content I'm able to produce (which means more tutorials and other help videos to benefit other cosplayers), as well as greater diversity in that content to meet the demands of viewers. I want to create more content that helps other cosplayers and makes the hobby accessible to people outside of our community in the form of positive representation.
