My name is Mark Causey and I've been writing little roleplaying game hacks and adventures for years now. I recently got a love letter from a player and their character (together!) and it made me realize that I do have something to share which others will find fun and valuable and which will extend my joy for creating them even more. You may have seen my name in the credits of some notable roleplaying games, such as Lady BlackbirdFiasco, and Marvel Heroic Roleplaying Game. I love playing these games and helping make them better when I can.

I want to write, create and playtest game hacks, adventures & scenarios, and add-ons. With your patronage and help I can afford to work on and release these designs (and release them more often) in Creative Commons (whenever possible)*. This will allow others to pick up, enjoy, and rework to their heart's content.

Character Sheet from the "The Shadow of the Abyss"

You barely survived the heist, and now your boss is back to take it out on one of you. Who is Crispin Glover here to kill?

But what do I mean, exactly? What will I be making, exactly?

Game Hacks: Changes to an existing game to accommodate a desired play-style, genre or setting
Example: The Shadow of the Abyss, a hack of The Shadow of Yesterday for supernatural conspiracy game play
Adventures & Scenarios: Complete write-ups for a game, scene by scene with any references or stats needed for easy use. Most of these will be written with conventions in mind.
Example: A convention scenario for Archipelago III reminiscent of the video game "The Last of Us", complete with characters, locations and prompts.
Add-Ons: Bolt-on rules and suggestions to add a feature to a game or to change the direction a game goes, without having to change any of the core rules
Example: An additional phase for the Rogue Players to introduce or encourage Romance in Swords without Master.

Thank you for your support!

By default, these creations will be formatted for easy reading on a blog or in a one column format with simple techniques for visual organization (e.g. bolding and italics, numbered and unnumbered lists). If we make it to this level, then the creations will come with a spruced up look, using snazzy (free to use) fonts, multi-column layouts, and/or side bars.
