About

Hey!  I'm Matt, a game developer who has always admired writers and had an interest in writing.  My past work includes mostly short stories and a few novella length pieces in the horror and sci-fi genres, with a few dives into fantasy.  I post a variety of content in a 'Per Content' format including short stories and chapters in ongoing series for the Avid Reader tier, behind-the-scenes content in the Writing Fan tier, and direct one-on-one discussions in the Dreaded Editor tier.  Some story previews, some behind the scenes content (like scans of marked up rough drafts), and some stories will be free for everyone!

What's with the typewriter-aesthetic?
I've always had a fondness for typewriters and the way they feel to write on.  They've got a great amount of visual and audio feedback that makes writing a lot more fun.  Currently I'm using a Brother Echelon 55 typewriter in my process to produce my first drafts before eventually editing and digitally retyping them.  Part of the Writing Fan tier benefits include digital scans of the typed and edited pages I create from that exact typewriter!
