Hello! I am a Hugo and Sturgeon Award winning science fiction and fantasy writer, but if you're here I expect that you already know that.

Along with a number of other writers, I recently completed the seven-year-long, million-word project Shadow Unit, which is available DRM-free through the ereader platform of your choice, and also complete and entirely free here.

 For over twelve years, I have maintained an ongoing blog detailing my experiences in the industry and intended to help other creative professionals develop.

Also, it has a lot of photos of my dog.

I am a full-time writer, but as you may know, writers are paid on an erratic schedule and cash-flow issues are common. Patreon will help me maintain a more steady income stream, thus allowing me more freedom to create and take risks.
