Cloud Storage

I store many important resources for my game in the cloud. $25 would cover all my cloud storage fees from Google, Dropbox, and others.
Royalty-Free Texture Resource Fees
$75 per month
There are some textures I am unable to create from scratch. $75 would cover membership fees for various royalty-free texture/photo sites.
Food
$125 per month
Food. More specifically, tons and tons of bottled water, ramen noodles, energy bars, and pocky. This fuels game development. $125 would cover it all.
Health
$200 per month
This is a big one. I take pills daily and health insurance in America is...not free. At all. $200 covers most of my medical expenses.
Royalty-Free 3D Models (Basic)
$275 per month
3D models are pretty important to 3D games. They're also expensive. I make as many of my own as I can, but sometimes it's not enough. $275 would help cover some basic royalty-free 3D models, like barrels, bushes, boxes, plates, etc.
Home Internet
$350 per month
Cable companies are evil--plain and simple. They also charge huge amount of money for disappointing internet service. $350 would cover the fastest internet available in my area. (Fastest available in my area is currently 50Mb/s)
Power
$450 per month
No, not the Kanye West song. I'm talking about the thing that lets me turn on my computer and make Paranormal. $450 would cover the cost of powering, heating, cooling my house.
Upgrades
$666 per month
Computers are expensive to upgrade. Making games requires a powerful computer. $666 would cover upgrades including new graphics cards, monitors, mice, keyboards, SSDs, RAM, etc.

I'm Matt Cohen. I make the horror game, Paranormal. It's a pretty big undertaking and can get very overwhelming, expensive, time-consuming, and stressful...but I love every second of it. This is my dream job.
Unfortunately, life is expensive and sometimes selling an indie game online can't fully pay the bills, at least not in my case. And that's okay. My goal with this Patreon thingy is to help me pay bills while building and engaging with Paranormal's awesome community. You're all the reason that I make games and I couldn't do it without you.
Long story short, the less I have to worry about bills, license fees, engine fees, royalty fees, etc., the more focused I can be in developing the best/scariest game I can.
Paranormal has taken over my life and with your help, we can make sure my biggest worries involve finding new ways to scare everyone in-game instead of worrying about being able to pay bills.
I don't expect you (or anyone) to pledge to this, but I would truly appreciate it if you did. If you can't, I completely understand. This is purely optional and meant only to help me stay afloat while I develop Paranormal.
