The Patreon page is a platform that allows the people who want to learn about my techniques gain access directly to my work.

Why should you become a patron?
The posts and videos that I make available through this page are for both art appreciators and aspiring artists.

I will share my cultural investigation of Italy with a series of posts exploring usually overlooked places, architecture and works of art that inspire me.  My studies have led me study with masters of traditional fresco, oil, ceramic and bronze work to preserve and perpetuate this precious knowledge that risks disappearing in contemporary art practice.

Through a series of posts and videos patrons will see into my studio practice in creating drawings, paintings and sculptures. Different mediums will be addressed like silverpoint drawing, oil painting, watercolor, fresco painting, terracotta, and bronze work.

An in depth study of the creation of figurative art will be explained including portraiture, figure painting, plein air landscape, composition and anatomy.

For an overview of how Patreon works in general, they've got a great primer here to explain how it works.

How often do patrons get charged?

Once per month. Regardless of how many posts and videos I upload you get charged the same amount.

Some information on me:
I am a figurative painter and sculptor, originally from Oak Park, IL, that currently divides his time between Chicago and Italy. My aesthetic pilgrimages and overseas journeys serve to broaden my artistic vision. Art is a powerful means of building bridges in this divisive world and beauty is its foundation.

The universal quality of the "Classical" is a driving force in my work, both visually and technically. As a result, I have been researching ancient forms, methods and materials in art making. For over 25 years I have been engaging with the visual language with Old Masters in a way to explore the world around me.  In addition to oil painting, one of my dreams is to revive Fresco painting, the medium Michelangelo used to realize the Sistine Chapel.
