My name is Max Eremine and I am a traveling portrait photographer. I travel around the world and photograph hundreds of people every year. Virtually all of my shoots are paid client shoots. Which means that I usually have a very, very limited amount of time to deliver a (hopefully) stellar image, or two, or ten. Through this experience I developed a particular work style based on improvisation and going with the flow.

I believe improvisational approach to photography really opens up its creative possibilities and makes photography simply more fun. I believe a beautiful portrait image can be made in any light, with any equipment, and with any model. The lighting, props, wardrobe, location, and the subject can make it easier or harder, but it is always there. For me it's similar to a Judo match - I do not resist the circumstances, and instead try to use them to my advantage. It's really all there for the taking, if one learns how to recognize it, see it, and execute it.

In my Patreon posts I share all the technical details, lighting diagrams, EXIF info, equipment used, retouching and post-processing techniques, the logic behind my creative decisions, photography business tips, and the general creative process behind my images.
Thank you for joining me!

Rewards
$5 Tier
$5 or more per month
Access to patron only content and events such as:
  • An average of 10 Exclusive Posts a month. Including Image Tutorials that would include camera EXIF info, equipment list, lighting diagram, and detailed explanation as to how the images were made. Also gear advice, photography business tips and tricks, Retouching Screen Capture Videos, and Creative Process Audio Podcast
  • Photoshop Actions and Lightroom Presets downloads along with some explanation as to how I use them
  • And here is the kicker... As a special thank you for my current continuous Patreon supporters - 100% of the money you pay can be applied as credit for my group workshops.* I am planning several for 2018.

Other rewards are being planned for this tier in the coming weeks and months, and are as follows:

  • Video Tutorials on Lighting and Creative Process
  • Live video hangouts / Q&A sessions
  • Annual patron-only giveaway

* There is no expiration date for the credit and the only catch is that you have to be a current continuous subscriber. Unsubscribing zeroes out accumulated credit. Credit does not have cash value, cannot be reimbursed, and can only be used as discount/credit for the cost of my group workshops.

$10 Tier
$10 or more per month
  • All the rewards of $5 tier
  • PLUS a private screen capture video critique of one of YOUR images per month
    • You would email me one image every month ([email protected]) and within a few days (might be a little longer sometimes) you would receive my critique of the image. My critique might be short or long, depending on how much I have to say about the image. But usually it's between 3 and 10 minutes. I would critique your image the same way I critique my images - what works, what doesn't, what areas need improvement, what would I have done differently, etc.
Goals
51 of 100 patrons
Once I reach 100 patrons, I will introduce another $5 Reward - a Photoshoot Video Feed from a monthly test shoot specifically aimed at my Patreon subscribers and concentrating on things I talk about in my posts.
