Thank you to each and every one of you who is a patron of my work!

I have been writing about politics and culture through an intersectional feminist lens for 15 years at Shakesville. I've also been published in a variety of international and domestic publications, including the Guardian, the Globe and Mail, Shareblue, Geez Magazine, Raw Story, and others.

If you're new to my work, you can find some examples of my writing here.

I'm known on Twitter as a Cassandra with keen political intuition, and as a go-to resource on our sinister veep.

I've been a guest on a number of podcasts and radio shows, a speaker at various universities and conferences, and I don't do TV because I am far too anxious about it! My essays on feminism and the rape culture have been used by academics, survivors' advocates, government agencies, and law enforcement all over the world, to my resounding gratification.

I was born and raised in Indiana, have lived in Chicago and Edinburgh, and now reside outside Philadelphia with a Scotsman and two dogs.

You can find me at Shakesville and on Twitter @shakestweetz.

Every tier of supporters gets: My abundant gratitude for your support and generosity! Plus: Access to all content published only in this space.

You may be wondering: Why don't I get more for a higher donation? That is a fair question!

I want every person who wants access to my work to have access to it, regardless of their ability to pay. I have more than enough followers on social media and readers at my blog to fund my work, with those who are able to give a little extra subsidizing those who can't afford to donate right now.

So I hope you will give what you can, not only because you value my work, but because you value a community of progressives who provide for one another as we are able.

Note: If you prefer to contribute one time only, monthly in a denomination not offered here, or regularly but not on a schedule, my PayPal is set up to accommodate all of those options. You can also make a donation via Venmo.
