Help me preserve the 3DS platform and build <a href="https://mikage.app/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Mikage</a>: A universal emulator that runs games and system software alike, with high performance on both PC and Android!The 3DS had an amazing run, with more than 1300 games released to date, many of which coined childhood memories for years after. And with the Home Menu, personalized Miis, technologies like StreetPass, and fun gadgets like AR games and Face Raiders, there is so much more to this platform: I want to go beyond what other emulators do and capture all of these aspects in an awesome emulator. A way to relive the full 3DS experience.This emulator is in development for both Android and PC. As of 2022, it can run <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7fls3C1ZiE" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">several games</a> at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NqM6mh_FL4" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">high frame rates</a>, and it supports system-level software like the <a href="https://twitter.com/MikageEmu/status/1526252891199131649" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Home Menu</a> thanks to a smart mix of low-level emulation for accuracy and high-level emulation for performance. I'm steadily improving compatibility and performance, but more importantly I can't wait to get the emulator into your hands: A free and open-source Developer Edition will be released on GitHub, followed by a fuller-featured and user-oriented release offered through other channels.Your funding is a token of support for this undertaking.
